Buckwheat is a grain that has been eaten for hundreds of years in the Far East, China, Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries, it is thought of as a cereal, but is actually a herb.

Mostly carbohydrate with a little over 10% protein, Buckwheat also has a good fibre content.

Buckwheat can be fed separately, within a mixture, or soaked/sprouted.
