Paddy Rice gets its name from the Paddy Bird more commonly known in the UK as the Java Sparrow.

Paddy Rice is the unprocessed, natural state of the rice grain and is used in a wide variety of seed mixtures. Although normally used as a dry grain, paddy rice can also be used as a soaked seed to soften it.
